Trump Election Day: Resurgence

Today voters in the United States will cast their ballots in one of the most important elections in US history. In doing so Americans from the east to the west, and across the fruited plain will be winning the greatest political victory in the history of America.

Modern American politics has become the epitome of image over integrity. Politicians, their handlers, and much of the mainstream press present political candidates, and their parties as caricatures, rather than as they are. This election is one in which we will choose substance over style, and ideas over platitudes. Americans can no longer accept a veneer of truth, brushed over a wall of lies.

Two images destroyed by a Trump victory are ones we have lived with for far too long.

Republicans are constantly portrayed as mean, racist, unfeeling, monsters who seek to kill old people and deny “choice” to American women. For the Left that word remains undefined, its vagueness soothes their consciences because it renders death into a mere “choice”, not as a consequence of life.

By comparison, Democrats are described as tolerant defenders of the oppressed and downtrodden. No examination of their ideas or policies is required because their image, not the truth, is all that matters. Hate is their currency and with it they buy votes.

This election will be a rejection of far-left policies, violence, and destruction. It will be an election predicated on the belief in the rule of law, on law and order, and in the defense of American values.

America, that word should have new meaning for us today. For too long we have believed it to refer to a geographic location, or place on a map. Democrats and Liberal Progressives would have you believe that this word stands for little more than slavery, and a flawed imperial view of the world. That this antiquated notion should be erased. They believe that we are “global citizens”, not Americans.

America was and is an idea. An experiment founded on the premise that we possess God-given rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Rights that no government conferred on to us, and no government can take away. This is the basis for the most successful and egalitarian society the world has ever known. This America is worth fighting and dying for.

“A nation, conceived in liberty and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.” This is the birthright of all…
