Visualize Whirled Peas

The Fantastic Fogey

Peace is in the air! The Trump administration conducted signing ceremonies for the historic Abraham Accords last week, and in so doing put an historic stamp on their foreign policy achievements.

It doesn’t seem Democrats want to give peace a chance as they reacted in the negative to something that is wholly positive.

On Sept. 11, 2020 Trump announced his administration had brokered a peace deal between Israel and Bahrain. This came on the heels of a similar agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates in which both nations agreed to “full normalization of relations.”

Trump’s team also negotiated an agreement between Serbia and Kosovo earlier in September. This pact includes a proviso that Kosovo recognize Israel and that Serbia move its embassy to Jerusalem.

Trump’s efforts are visualizing world peace, and then making it happen.

Unsurprisingly, the Democrat’s reaction to these unquestionably unobjectionable accomplishments is to object.

Joe Biden, the Democrat party’s beleaguered standard-bearer, was quoted in the Times of Israel as having said the following in reference to these peace deals during a fundraiser hosted by J Street,

“I think Trump is going to accidentally do something positive here, in terms of this issue of … other Arab states,”

In so doing the former Vice President is changing the popular peace slogan from “No war know peace”, to “know war no peace”. What Biden really knows is a subject of great debate, but he realizes that the Abraham Accords improve Trump’s re-election chances.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was certainly making war not love when she described the President’s role in securing these accords. Speaking to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer Pelosi executed a verbal blitz when she said,

“Good for him (Trump) for having a distraction on a day when the numbers of people who are affected and the numbers of people who are dying from this virus (Chinese coronavirus) only increases.”

The two most powerful people in the Democrat party can’t visualize world peace. Instead, upon hearing Trump has made substantial strides toward that goal they spew rhetorical whirled peas much like Linda Blair in the ‘Exorcist’.

Rubbing salt in their wounds, Trump was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize for a second time this week for his efforts to bring peace to the Middle East…
